Additionally, for 3 years, as a Digital Marketing lead at the not-for-profit the7dayringproject, Kathleen developed several marketing campaigns for product lines leading to increased customer engagement and sales.

    For several years, Kathleen used her passion for music and dance within the Vancouver community by leading and choreographing a children’s musical at local theatre group, Acting Up!

    Wendy is a business strategist with over 20 years of management experience, specializing in strategy, planning and negotiating strategic alliances and partnerships. Over the past two decades, she has managed with full P&L responsibilities several multi-million dollar businesses ranging in annual revenues from $2-250 million. She has worked with companies such as: Johnson & Johnson, Glaxo-SmithKline, and Mark Anthony Group/Mission Hill Winery, Spice World, Oxford Immune Algorithmics, Aurora Cannabis, Care Point Medical & Wellness Clinics. She was at the helm of cross-functional teams at these companies, spearheading negotiations with companies in Canada, United States, Japan, China, and Europe. She holds a BSc. in Medical Science from the University of British Columbia, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from McGill University and ICD.D from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

    With her fluency in Chinese-Mandarin and Chinese-Cantonese, working knowledge of other Asian languages and intrinsic understanding of Asian culture and needs, Wendy is in a unique position to foster, create and nurture business relationships between East and West. Her extensive network, Canadian graduate degree and Fortune 500 corporate experience has enabled her to assist and advise many companies in Canada and Asia.     Victor specializes in corporate law, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. He is adept at cross cultural deal structuring with well-honed abilities to understand and navigate East-West differences.

    Victor is fluent in Mandarin- Chinese, as well as Japanese. He was born and raised in China and later lived and studied in Japan before relocating to Canada.

    Prior to beginning his legal career, Victor was a successful entrepreneur who co-founded an information technology consulting firm, a software development company, and a real estate leasing and management business.

    Drawing from his years of industry experience, Victor advises a wide variety of Canadian, Chinese and Japanese clients from both sides of the Pacific in business matters as well as intellectual property matters. Victor’s keen senses of business and well-rounded appreciation of the North American and Asian culture help direct clients onto the right path in their business dealings.

    Currently, he is the Managing Partner of the DS Avocats's Vancouver Office, and a member of the DS’s Business Law Group. Victor is also a registered trademarks agent and a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. He was previously at Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP.

    Victor has strong ties to and has built a large business network in both China and Japan, and possesses insightful appreciation of the business cultures of both countries.

    In his spare time, Victor was a columnist writing for the World Journal, North America’s largest circulating Chinese language newspaper, discussing various legal issues faced by new immigrants in their personal and business lives.

    Victor is the President of Canada Sports and Culture Foundation, Vice President of Canada China Sports Foundation; he sits on the board of Canada China Enterprises Association; he is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at Simon Fraser University, Faculty of Communications, Arts, and Technology. Victor is also an advisory board member of Canada China Business Council, and sits on the Scholarship and Burseries Committee at Crofton House School, one of British Columbia’s oldest and most respected independent schools.

    Victor completed his Bachelor’s curriculum (Honours) in Computer Science at Queen’s University and attended law school at the University of British Columbia.

    Companies he has made significant positive impact include: Bluestone Resources (VP Operations) – John Robins/Lundin Project, Starcore International Mines (Director, COO), Taurus, Sable, Treminco, Goldridge, Levon, Avino Mines, Mongolia Gold and Eaglecrest. Dave has been a seasoned Director/Technical Advisor with active involvement at the strategic and leadership level at Starcore, St. Eugene Mining, Verona Development, Hathor Exploration and Orex Resources.

    He has been a designated NI 43-101 Qualified Person and has authored/co-authored over 25 Technical Reports. Conversant in Latin Culture, Community Relations, and both Union and Non-Union Environments, Dave is able to be high functioning in diverse and complex situations globally.

    A consultant with Moxie since 2009, Tracy has 14 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing and customer experience. Prior to joining Moxie Tracy served as marketing director at Citizens Bank of Canada, Vancity’s national online division, where she led a team of marketing and web user experience professionals in branding and marketing communications, product development, customer relationship management, online marketing, market research and database marketing.

    At Citizens Bank, Tracy oversaw the launch of the bank’s first social networking initiative in 2008, an online community geared towards Canada’s minor hockey community.

    Tracy has specialized in digital marketing since 2000 and has led the successful redesign and launch of several websites and online campaigns including microsites, email marketing, search engine marketing and optimization, and social media. An expert in integrating interactive marketing strategies into the marketing mix, Tracy delivers a customer experience that is on-brand, and one that, in turn, delivers business results.

    She holds an MBA from the Segal Graduate School of Business at Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in marketing, from the Sauder Business School at the University of British Columbia. She has worked with clients in the restaurant, film production, professional services, and media industries, and has extensive experience in the financial services industry.

    Lorenzo is an accomplished senior sales, marketing and general management executive with over 25 years of leadership in the consumer products and automotive/tech industries. He specializes in revenue growth, organizational design, brand and product strategy. He is fluent in English and Italian.

    Throughout his corporate life, he has held senior leadership roles in top tier Fortune 100/500 companies such as E&J Gallo, Best Foods Canada, Vincor International Inc. and Constellation Brands. For the last four years, he served as the Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the Vancouver BC-based electric vehicle start-up, ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp (EMV), now a publicly-traded NASDAQ company. In this role, he led the commercialization effort for the all-new single passenger SOLO EV, a “designed in Canada” electric car for the world market.

    As part of Canadian Leadership Teams at Constellation Brands and Vincor International, he had full P&L responsibility and operated the largest commercial business unit for both iterations of the company. During his tenure, he grew Constellation’s business from approximately $40 million to $150 million in revenue, was the key architect of the company’s commercial sales philosophy, authored the company’s National Sales Training Manual, and was instrumental in developing a strong cultural identity for the organization anchored by the principles of “Performance, Passion & Pride” This was done while leading a team of 65 cross-functional professionals to a level of pre-eminence within the industry at large.

    Throughout his career he has been involved in the launching and market development of over 50 brands, as well as landing strategic account partnerships across a spectrum of private and public sector constituencies.

    As an associate consultant for Moxie Strategy, Louisa Liu Meina, Jager Consulting Limited, brings over five years of corporate finance experience primarily in the resource sector.
